Roy Moore Lobster Co in Rockport

Just as good as you expect. Great deal, $28 for a 2 and a half pound lobster. You can even sit outback on the dock and enjoy it. Go mid afternoon and there is almost no line.

Ray Moore is our favorite place to visit. Food is always great and they are super friendly. Jake my dog loves it. My husband jeff can't get enough.

Always a great place to go. They’ve done a nice job dealing with COVID-19. I like the fact that their lobster rolls don’t come mixed with mayonnaise. They put it on the side and let you decide. Nice selection of fried seafood too. Sit outside if you can...the service is great.

The food was top notch, seating can be a bit crowded, but that's not what this place is about. It's about the food and wow, you will love it too. PS the employees were friendly and helpful.

Amazing! The guy at the register was a legend! Super friendly and lots of energy. We sat by the water in the back. The line moves quickly, and we think these are the best lobster rolls in New England!

Best Lobster place ever! This was my second visiting. Both times, my family enjoyed a lot. Additionally the prices were very reasonable. I strongly recommend to try here. I will visit again.

The food is awesome, the service is speedy, the seating is cutthroat. The food is simply awesome! It's fresh and delicious. The seating situation is insane and brings out the worst in people. Often people are "saving seats" who have no food at all. We normally just eat on the warf to avoid the insanity. Wish they'd fix the seating, otherwise it's perfect!

YOU WANT FRESH LOBSTER?! THIS IS THE PLACE! 3 lobster for only $40 + (tax). Their clam chowder is really good, not watery at all and taste really good.The only downside is that the seating area is not big. But you can sit on the harbor side if you don't mine sitting on concrete.But overall, will be back for more of those fresh lobsters.

More than great experience. Price was awesome, the atmosphere was bright, outgoing and joyful all the time when we were there. Especially, the guy at the front was so funny. Not only the scenery of the place was fantastic, also you need to see their price for the lobsters. I know it is slightly smaller than you used to have. However, considering the price, that would be your best choice ever. Plus, rockport is a great tourist spot to play around.

Hands down the BEST chowder anywhere! This is a must visit if I'm ever fortunate enough to find myself in Cape Ann, which doesn't occur nearly enough! Stop by and give it a try. You will NOT be disappointed! Now I want some chowder!

Fast and portable trays of oysters complement the fresh steamed lobsters. Great crew. Fun stop in touristy location. Highly picnic worthy.

My favorite place on bearskin neck. Small place but packed with lobsters, fish, scallops, oysters, and sometimes has crab. Decently priced, has an outdoor back patio with a few benches. Stop in for a steamed lobster or some freshly shucked oysters. Lots of decor on the inside walls and ceiling. Friendly staff.

Great place for lobster rolls "in the rough". 4 oz.of meat with chips = $20 and $1 for can of cold pop. Best price in town! Highly recommend.

Buy a lobster with a container of melted butter and take it out to the end of the breakwater at Bearskin neck. Watch the boats go in and out and watch the sea gulls as they hungrily eye your feast. What better way to enjoy a summer lunch by the sea.

Live lobsters brought home were fresh and delicious. Same goes for the lobster roll and stuffed quahog enjoyed on the back deck.

It's hard to beat this awesome, authentic stop. They have amazing lobster, crab, clams, and oysters that were all some of the best I have ever had. You can add to the experience by sitting at a table in the back that is on the dock. You can also walk down further by the water to watch boats come and go while you eat.

You know it's fresh when you ask for tuna and "the boat's not in yet!" Everything here tastes amazing. They will boil, crack, and pack lobsters to go with melted butter and everything you need for a great price. The tuna was worth the return trip, thanks so much guys!!

Thus is a no frills establishment. Lobsters are abundant, price is very good. They also have some small selection of sea foods that are high quality, particularly fresh oysters and grilled salmon.We like visiting Rockport, to the tune of once a month during season. Roy Moore is on our list of must visit.Owner and people who work here are very friendly. Seating in the back of store consists of half a dozen picnic tables. This further strengthens the 'air'.

Great experience at a great price! Roy Moore's gives you an entire boiled and cracked lobster for $13. Super chill, easy to eat meal. The food came out instantly, literally no wait at all. Easy to order and eat there in the back or take it to go. The staff was very friendly and outgoing which made you feel at home. Super fun time and would recommend this place just for the experience.

This place was excellent! Very refreshing cold lobster roll on a hot day. I didn't realize you have to specify if you want butter or mayo in the lobster meat because mine was plain lobster. That being said it was nice and fresh and the lobster meat flavor wasn't masked by other ingredients. If you like one of those in your lobster roll, be sure to ask! The guy at the booth taking orders was extremely helpful and pleasant. We asked last minute for waters with our order and instead of drawing up a new bill, he didn't charge us for them! It's a small place so bear in mind you may not get seating out back by the harbor if it's busy, but it's a short walk to the end of the peninsula where you can sit by the jetty which is an even better view in my opinion. Great service, great food. Can't go wrong!

3 lobster for 35 is a nice price in a touristy location, supporting local business. Very friendly staff who will give treats to your dog if you have one.

When in Rockport, the only thing fresher is if you plucked the seafood out of the water yourself. It's one of the few places where I will eat raw scallops and oysters. Great staff!

Good place for a quick seafood snack on bear neck. Cup of chowder, stuffed clam, and fish cake makes a great quick lunch. Kids love watching the lobsters and crabs in the tank.

This is my favorite post-Good Harbor beach day summer lobster spot. It is the most lively, fast, and fun lobster spot you will find, with fresh raw oysters and other deliciousness to take-away or sit and share a pick nick table out back. Always Moore Lobstah!

Best value for this area. High quality and fresh seafood that's exactly what you'd expect from this area. Only downside is having to sit outside under the hot sun but if that's your thing too, it's almost perfect.

Wow, CRAZY reviews! We had a tiny lobster roll for $21, and a bottle of water from a vending machine. No liquor. Plain lobster, boiled and tough, no sauce, on half a hot dog bun (4” sandwich for $21!!). Plus a bag of chips. Not worth the stop.
